Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Greensboro is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Greensboro follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

If you are a work from home mom and need a place to work while your kids play in a safe environment this is the place to go. I work from home and bring my daughter here has truly helped me work in peace while she plays. Wonderful mom community! And I am able to make work calls and the noise is never too load (of course have a noise cancel headset).

Our first visit to City in the House was absolutely amazing! The environment was so warm and welcomingβit truly felt like home. My nephews were a little shy at first, but before long they were playing like theyβd been coming for years. They even made new friends, which made it that much more special. Lauren made the BEST chai latte Iβve ever had, and she went above and beyond by making the boys balloon doggiesβsuch a sweet touch! They even had snacks and flavored lemonade for the kids to refuel, which was a huge bonus! If youβre thinking about going, do it. Seriously. Even if you donβt have kids, itβs worth it just for the coffee. Everything is priced so reasonably for the quality you get. Weβll definitely be back!

Both of my boys (6 and 4) love this place!! And I love it for the atmosphere, convenience, customer service, and coffee!!! I can sit at the partition and work on my laptop while sipping a cup of something hot, chocolatey, and caffeinated while my kids play nicely within reach. They even had a craft especially for veteran's day! I think I need a punch card, I'm sure I'll be back again soon!

City in the House is the perfect place where your kids can enjoy their time, while you, as an adult, can relax without worrying about what they're doing. You can enjoy a peaceful moment with a delicious cup of coffee in a clean and welcoming environment. The place is spotless and offers many fun options for kids of all ages, even spots specifically designed for 1-year-old babies. There is plenty of parking available outside the store, making visits convenient for families.
